Educate our veterans and encourage them to share their knowledge with their community.

As You Were
How It Started:
What initially began as a veteran only night to share stories turned into a pot luck for the whole neighborhood.

How It's Going:
Today, we meet once a month during the week
to share the food we make with the neighborhood
and cut up with each other. On average we give away about 50 meals and have everyone from musicians to farmers drop in to eat.

If you would like to help:
-
Come to an As You Were
-
Bring a dish to share/donate

Our Garden Sites and Farm
Abby’s Acre is everywhere!

We regeneratively manage 84 acres of private land to produce food to donate. We also produce plants to give away to members of the community to help start their own gardens! We produce a majority of our farm resources ourselves. We don't use ANY pesticides or herbicides.

In the last 2 years weve built 5 gardens at local veterans homes and facilities. That has resulted in hundreds of pounds of regeneratively grown produce donated to neighbors and community food programs.

For more information about our farming methods,
please ask. Colton loves to talk about it...
sometimes too much.
